When I initially found out we were having twins I was in a pleasant state of shock. My response to the doctor included the words, “But I’m too little.” Quite an interesting response! What I meant was that I’m on the short petite side and where were two babies going to fit. I had a high risk pregnancy but thankfully delivered two healthy babies.

Fast forward to going in public with the double stroller. Let’s just say I had no idea how much attention twins receive. Every place or store we went into we encountered smiles, head nods, and loads of questions. The questions ranged from, are they twins, how old, are they identical to highly personal. How does a stranger ask someone in aisle 5 of the grocery store if their pregnancy was planned or how was the delivery 🥴. I politely sidestepped those types of questions but often wanted to give a snarky response. I understand the curiosity that comes with twins but at least tell me your name and your favorite color before asking about my reproductive system, lol.
